Chosen Vessels

The men in our lives play many roles. They are our husbands, fathers, brothers, sons, pastors, neighbors, favorite uncles and friends. They do so much for us, their communities, churches and families, and often without any recognition.

The Breath of Life Seventh-day Adventist Church was filled to capacity for the second Men of Honor Awards, held Saturday, October 1, 2011. The awards were given to men from area churches who have served their churches, communities and fellow man in outstanding and selfless ways.

Ninety-two men were nominated for recognition, and over 30 men were honored with the Spirit of Community, Helping Hand and Unsung Hero awards. Dr. Patrick Crarey was presented this year's Chosen Vessel award.

What a blessed time we had honoring those men who have freely and generously given of their time and their talent.
